What Is the Zola Item Library?

The Zola Item Library is a large-scale item information database maintained by NeatHub:

  • Contains information on a wide range of common products
  • Includes product names, brands, barcodes, images, and more
  • Maintained by the NeatHub team and user contributions
  • Supports community interaction such as likes and comments
In Simple Terms

The Zola Item Library is like an "item encyclopedia" — everyone shares their items to build a public item database. You can find product information here for reference, and you can share your own items to help other users.

Accessing the Zola Item Library

  • Tap the store icon button on the home page (blue circle)
  • Enter the Zola Item Library page

Browsing the Library

Browse by Category

  • Items are organized in a hierarchical category structure
  • Tap a category to enter its subcategories
  • A breadcrumb navigation bar at the top makes it easy to go back
  • Tap the number next to a category to filter items within it

Search

  • Enter keywords to search for items
  • You can search by name, brand, and other info
  • Search results show a list of matching items

Item Details

Tap an item to view its detailed information:

  • Name: Item name
  • Images: Item image gallery
  • Notes: Item description
  • Publisher: The user who shared the item
  • Updated: When the item info was last updated

Social Interaction

The library supports community interaction features:

Likes

  • Like items you enjoy
  • Like counts show how popular an item is
  • Tap the heart icon to like or unlike

Comments

  • Post comments on item detail pages
  • Discuss and share thoughts with other users
  • Comment counts are shown in the item list

Sharing

  • Share items with other NeatHub users
  • Shared content can be copied to the clipboard
  • The recipient can paste it in the app to view directly
Tip

Social features make the library more vibrant — interact with other users through likes and comments.

My Page

  • Tap the profile icon in the top-right corner
  • Enter "My Page"
  • View items you've shared to the library
  • Edit your personal bio

What the Library Is For

Barcode Scanning for Product Info

When scanning a product barcode or book ISBN:

  • The system queries the backend database for product/book information matching the barcode
  • Product data comes from the National Barcode Center (China Article Numbering Centre) and only supports domestic products
  • Book ISBNs can retrieve title, author, publisher, and other details
  • If a match is found, name, brand, and other info are filled in automatically — no manual entry needed
Note

Imported products are not currently supported for automatic barcode recognition — you'll need to enter the information manually.

Getting Images from the Library

When editing an item and adding images, you can search the Zola Library for matching images:

  • On the edit item page, tap to add an image
  • Select "Zola Library" as the image source
  • The item name is automatically used to search for related images
  • Select a suitable image to add to your item
Use Case

When you add an item but don't have a photo, you can search the Zola Library to see if another user has shared an image of the same product.

Sharing Items to the Zola Library

You can share your own items to the Zola Library to help other users:

  • Enable the "Share to Zola Library" option when editing an item
  • The item must have an image to be shared
  • After saving, the item will appear in the Zola Library
  • Other users can view it and use the image as a reference
Tip

Sharing items is voluntary. Shared items are publicly displayed in the Zola Library, where other users can like, comment, and use the images.
