Space Plan

Turn your home, warehouse, or office into a flexible floor plan. Organize by room → storage unit → item, and see at a glance where everything lives.

Who it's for

Anyone who wants to manage exactly which cabinet or shelf an item is on. Great for moving, home organization, small-shop stock, and office asset tracking—no more relying on memory.

Core concepts

  • Space: a standalone floor plan, e.g. "Home", "Warehouse", "Office". One account can hold many spaces.
  • Room: a rectangular area on the plan (bedroom, living room, loading zone…). Drag, resize, recolor.
  • Storage unit: a specific cabinet or spot inside a room (wardrobe, bookcase, shelf…), each with a fitting look and real dimensions.
  • Item binding: place items into storage units. Their location attribute syncs automatically, and counts update at every level.

Quick start: build a home from a template

Official templates pre-fill rooms and common cabinets, so you get a usable layout in seconds.

  • Open the Space tab and tap New Space
  • Name your space (e.g. "My Home"). Optionally link a location attribute so item locations stay in sync
  • Pick a template: Blank / Two-bedroom / Three-bedroom / Bedroom / Office / Warehouse
  • The floor plan opens with rooms and cabinets already placed—adjust freely

Edit the layout

  • Open a space and enter Edit Mode to drag and resize rooms
  • Add storage units (wardrobe, bookcase, shoe cabinet, TV stand, kitchen cabinet, refrigerator, nightstand, drawer, or generic shelf). Each kind carries recommended real-world dimensions (width / depth / height in meters)
  • Rename and recolor rooms and units to keep large layouts readable

Put items into storage units

  • Tap a storage unit to open its bound items
  • Tap Add items and pick from your item library
  • The item's location attribute syncs to that unit automatically
  • Changes made from either side reflect immediately on the other
Two-way binding

Item → location and location → item stay in sync. Change an item's location in its detail page and the plan updates; move or unbind on the plan and the item's location follows.

2.5D view

  • Switch to 2.5D View for a dimensional, bird's-eye take on your plan
  • Rotate with two fingers and adjust the pitch; cabinets render as solid blocks
  • Handy for showing family the layout or spotting duplicate or missed storage

Multiple spaces & cloud sync

  • Create as many spaces as you need—home, warehouse, office, storefront—each edited independently
  • Spaces live in the cloud. Sign in on the mobile app or web version and everything stays in sync

FAQ

How is Space Plan different from the location attribute?

Space Plan is the visual layer on top of the location attribute. The attribute alone is just a tree (e.g. "Home → Wardrobe → Shelf 2"); Space Plan draws it as a floor plan you can arrange. Creating a storage unit auto-creates the matching location entry, and both stay in sync.

How many rooms and storage units can a space hold?

Free: 5 rooms / 4 storage units per space. Members: up to 20 spaces, each holding 30 rooms / 50 storage units. Basic layout and item binding are free within quota—see the in-app membership page for details.
