Search and Filter

NeatHub offers multiple search and filter options to help you quickly find items.

Text Search

The most basic search method — enter keywords in the search bar at the top of the home page:

  • Tap the search bar and enter keywords
  • The system automatically searches for matching items
  • Tap a search result to view item details

Search Scope

Text search matches the following content:

  • Item name
  • Item notes/description
  • Attribute values (e.g., brand, model)

Image Search

Upload a photo to find similar items — great for finding the same or similar products.

  • Tap the camera icon next to the search bar
  • Take a photo or select one from your album
  • The system matches similar items
  • View the list of matching results

Use Cases

  • Spot a similar product and check if you already own it
  • Find similar styles among your collectibles
  • Search for items with a specific appearance
Membership Feature

Image search requires a membership.

Semantic Search

Search for items using natural language descriptions — no exact keywords needed.

Search Examples

  • "Coffee I bought last week"
  • "Red clothes"
  • "Food about to expire"
  • "Things that cost more than 100"

Filter

Tap the filter button to set filter conditions:

Filter by Collection

  • Tap the filter button
  • Select "Collection"
  • Check the collections you want to view
  • The list shows only items in the selected collection

Filter by Attribute

You can filter items by any attribute value:

  • Filter by status (show only "In Stock" items)
  • Filter by price (show only items above a certain price)
  • Filter by date (show only items purchased within a date range)
  • Filter by cascading category (show only items under a specific category)

Combined Filters

You can set multiple filter conditions at the same time:

  • For example: Collection = "Clothing" + Status = "In Stock" + Color = "Red"
  • Conditions use an "AND" relationship — items must meet all conditions

Sort

Tap the sort button to choose a sort method:

Sortable Fields

  • Name: Sort alphabetically by item name
  • Date Added: Sort by the order items were added
  • Quantity: Sort by item quantity
  • Price: Sort by price
  • Expiry Date: Sort by expiry date
  • Purchase Date: Sort by purchase date

Sort Direction

  • Ascending: From smallest to largest
  • Descending: From largest to smallest

Save Filters

You can save frequently used filter conditions as quick filters:

  • After setting filter conditions, tap "Save Filter"
  • Enter a filter name
  • Next time, you can quickly select a saved filter

Clear Filters

Tap the filter button and select "Clear Filters" or "All" to restore the full item list.
