Item Comments
Add comments to items to record discussions or supplementary information.
What are Item Comments?
Item Comments work like a message board:
- You can add comments to an item to record thoughts or additional notes
- When collaborating with others, members can discuss and communicate under an item
- Comments are displayed in chronological order for easy reference
Adding a Comment
- Go to the item details page
- Find the "Comments" section by scrolling down or tapping the comments tab
- Tap the "Add Comment" button
- Enter your comment
- Tap "Send" or "Save"

Comment Content
Comments support:
- Text content
- Image attachments (optional)
Viewing Comments
All comments are displayed in chronological order on the item details page:
- The most recent comment appears at the bottom
- Each comment shows the author's avatar, nickname, timestamp, and content
- You can tap a comment to reply
Deleting Comments
- Long press or tap the "Delete" button on a comment
- Confirm deletion
Note
You can only delete your own comments. Other members' comments cannot be deleted unless you have admin permissions.
Use Cases
Household Item Discussions
Family members can discuss items:
- "This milk is about to expire, who wants to finish it?"
- "Love the color of this shirt, let's get the same one next time"
- "Lent this tool to the neighbor, remember to get it back"
Team Collaboration
Team members can communicate under items:
- "This computer needs repair, tech support has been contacted"
- "Inventory count verified, matches the records"
- "This equipment has been decommissioned, it can be deleted"
Personal Notes
Add supplementary information to items:
- "Purchased from the official online store, cheaper than in-store"
- "Used this skincare product for six months, works great"
- "Warranty expires next March, remember to renew"
Tip
The comments feature is most useful in collaborative scenarios. For personal use, it can serve as supplementary notes.
