Item Status
NeatHub lets you assign different statuses to items, making it easy to track their current state.
Purpose of Statuses
- Organized Management: Filter items by status, e.g., view only "In Stock" items
- Data Statistics: See the count of items in each status
- Quick Overview: Know whether an item is lent out, used up, or disposed of
Default Statuses
Common statuses provided by the system:
- In Stock: Item is stored normally and available
- Lent Out: Item has been lent to someone; lending details can be recorded
- Disposed: Item has been discarded, sold, or given away
- Pending: Item needs attention, e.g., to be organized or decided on

Setting Item Status
- Go to the item edit page
- Find the "Status" attribute
- Select a status from the dropdown
- Save the item
Custom Statuses
You can add custom statuses in Status Management:
- Tap the top-left corner on the home page to open the side menu
- Go to "Status Management"
- Tap the add button
- Enter a status name and color
- Once saved, the status can be used when editing items
Custom Status Examples
- "In Use": Items currently being used
- "Spare": Backup items
- "Damaged": Damaged and awaiting repair or written off
- "Collection": Items on display, not in use
Filter by Status
You can filter items by status in the item list:
- Tap the filter button
- Select the "Status" condition
- Check the statuses you want to view
- The list shows only items with the selected status
Status Statistics
On the "Statistics" page, you can view the distribution of items by status:
- A pie chart shows the proportion of each status
- Tap a status to quickly filter and view those items

Batch Edit Status
You can change the status of multiple items at once:
- Enter multi-select mode
- Select the items to modify
- Tap the "Edit" button
- Select the "Status" attribute to modify
- Choose the new status and save
Tip
Combine status management with the filter feature to quickly view "Disposed" items for batch cleanup, or check "Lent Out" items for retrieval.
