Scan Recognition
Scan an item barcode to quickly update its stock quantity without navigating to the detail page.
Feature Overview
When items are already in your inventory and have barcode labels attached, you can use this feature to quickly stock in or stock out:
- Scan and act: Scan a barcode and the quantity adjustment panel appears immediately
- Quick stock in: Add item quantity, record incoming stock
- Quick stock out: Reduce item quantity, record consumption or shipment
- One-step operation: No need to enter item detail page — scan and done
Barcode Scanning (in the add button menu) is used to create new items by fetching product info from the network.

- No need to enter detail pages one by one

- Select Stock In, enter quantity and price
- One tap to update inventory

- Scan barcode to find the item
- Select Stock Out, enter quantity
- Add a note for buyer or destination
Daily Consumption

- Used some items? Scan their barcode
- Select Stock Out and reduce the quantity
- Always know your remaining stock
Works with Printed Labels
Scan Stock In/Out works best when combined with printed item labels:
- Print labels (with barcodes) from the item detail page
- Attach labels to items or shelves
- Later, scan barcodes to quickly stock in/out
For items requiring frequent quantity updates (warehouse management, inventory checks), we recommend printing barcode labels and attaching them to items. This makes scan operations most efficient.
When Item Not Found
If the scanned barcode doesn't match any item in your inventory:
- You'll see "No matching item found"
- The barcode may not have been added to your inventory yet
- Use "Barcode Scanning" to create a new item entry
Share Code Recognition
The scan feature also recognizes share codes (starting with maozla):
- Scanning a share code directly opens the item detail page
- Or opens a filter view to see related items
- Useful for receiving item info shared by others
Common Issues
Try these solutions:
- Ensure sufficient lighting, avoid shadows
- Hold phone steady at a moderate distance
- Make sure barcode is flat without creases
If several items in your inventory share the same barcode (e.g., you bought the same product multiple times), a list appears after scanning so you can choose which one to operate on.
