Image Search

Upload an image to find similar items without needing to remember the item name.

Feature Overview

When you see an item in real life and want to know whether you already own something similar:

• Take a photo or upload an image
• The system automatically matches similar items in your library
• Quickly find the same item or a similar one

How to Use

• Tap the search icon on the home page
• Tap the image icon on the right side of the search input
• Choose “Camera” or “Album”
• Take or select the image you want to search with
• Wait for the system to process the match
• View the list of matching results
• Tap a result to open item details

Matching Results

The system displays items ordered by similarity from high to low:

• Similarity ordering: Results are ranked by how similar they are to the search image — more similar items appear first
• Item information: Shows name, image, quantity, price, and other basic info
• Quick action: Tap to view details directly

Use Cases

Shopping decisions

When you see a product in a store, take a photo to check whether you already own the same item and avoid duplicate purchases.

Collection management

When viewing collectibles, search to confirm whether you already have the same item or one from the same series.

Finding items

If you remember what an item looks like but not its name, use an image to find it quickly.

Improving Match Accuracy

• Take the photo from a mostly front-facing angle
• Use sufficient lighting and avoid shadows
• Keep the image clear with distinctive item features
• Avoid occlusion or blur whenever possible

Notes

• Matching is based on visual similarity, not exact identification
• Results may include visually similar items that are not the same model
• Review the results to confirm whether they are what you are looking for
