Stock Alert
Give the items you keep using up a safety stock, and anything that falls below it gets listed so you can restock in time. Together with expiration reminders it lives in the "Stock Alert" segment of the Follow-up page.
The safety stock is your "any lower than this and it is too late" line. If 2 bottles of laundry detergent is what feels safe to you, then with 1 bottle left at home the item shows up in low-stock alerts, telling you it is time to buy more.
Setting the Safety Stock
- Edit the item and find the "Quantity" area
- In "Safety stock", enter the lowest quantity you want to keep
- Save the item
Leaving "Safety stock" empty means this item is not monitored at all — it never appears in the alerts.
How an Alert Is Decided
- An item enters the alerts when its current quantity is less than or equal to the safety stock
- The list is sorted by how large the shortfall is, biggest first
- After a quantity changes, open the page again for the latest result; the "N below limit" line at the top of the home page updates with it
Viewing Stock Alert
- On the home page, tap "More" in the top right → "Follow-up", or tap the "N below limit" status line at the top directly
- Switch to the "Stock Alert" segment
- Each entry shows the item name, safety stock and price, with the current quantity marked in a red tag on the right
When no item is below its safety stock, this segment shows "No low-stock items" and the status line on the home page hides itself.
How to Restock
The alert list only points things out — the actual fix happens on the item:
- Tap an alert to open its item detail page, where "N below limit" is marked at the top
- Edit the quantity to the new total after restocking
- Save and go back to the list — that alert is gone
When you buy in bulk, put the items you usually restock into a Collection and shop down that list in one go.

Food Stock

Things to Note
- Only items with a "Safety stock" filled in are monitored
- Setting the safety stock to 0 means "alert me as soon as it is used up"

Low-stock alerts suit items that keep getting used up; collectibles whose quantities stay fixed do not need a safety stock.
