Item Diary

Add diary entries to items to track usage experiences and important events.

What is Item Diary?

Item Diary is a "usage log" for your items:

  • Record usage, maintenance, and repair experiences
  • Record important events related to items
  • Displayed in chronological order, forming a "life archive" for the item
Plain explanation

Item Diary is like a "growth journal" for your items. For example, after buying a skincare product, you can record "started using today," "good results after two months," "switched to a new one for the season change," and so on, forming a complete usage record.

  • Go to the item details page
  • Find the "Diary" section by scrolling down or tapping the diary tab
  • Tap "Add Diary" or the "+" button
  • Enter the diary content
  • Optionally add images
  • Select a date (defaults to today)
  • Tap "Save"

Tip

Diary is ideal for tracking personal usage experiences with items, while Comments are better for collaborative discussions. You can use both at the same time.

Value of Diary Entries

  • Track effectiveness: for example, review diary entries to see how a skincare product performed over time
  • Record history: build a complete usage archive for an item
  • Inform decisions: reference past diary entries when making purchase decisions
  • Preserve memories: diary entries for collectibles capture their stories
