Add Items

Adding items is a core feature of NeatHub, with multiple entry methods supported.

Manual Add

The most basic method, ideal for detailed entry of individual items.

• Open the Add Page

  Tap the "+" button in the bottom-right corner of the home page and select "Manual Add"

• Enter a Name

  Type the item name; the system will suggest auto-completions based on your saved items

• Add Images (optional)

  Tap the image area to take a photo or choose from your photo library; multiple images are supported

• Fill in Attributes (optional)

  Enter basic info like quantity, price, and notes

• Save the Item

  Tap the save button to finish

Default Attributes

When adding manually, the following default attributes are shown:

• Quantity: Item quantity, defaults to 1
• Price: Item price, with built-in calculator
• Notes: Item description or remarks
• Index Notes: Description used for search indexing

Custom Attributes

In addition to default attributes, you can add custom attributes in "Attribute Settings":

• Tags: For categorization, selected from preset options
• Text Field: Free-form text or number input
• Date: Date picker with reminder support
• Cascade: For location, multi-level selection like "Wardrobe / Shelf 2"
• Attachment: Add images or files
• Barcode: Save barcode information

Barcode Scan Add

Scan the barcode on product packaging to automatically retrieve product information.

• Tap the "+" button in the bottom-right corner of the home page
• Select "Scan"
• Align the product barcode with the scan frame for automatic recognition
• The system retrieves product name, brand, and other info from the backend database
• Add personal details like quantity and price, then save

Manual Barcode Entry: If scanning is inconvenient, you can manually enter the barcode number (product barcodes: 8-13 digits, ISBN: 10-13 digits).

Note: Imported products are not yet supported for automatic recognition and must be entered manually.

Receipt Recognition Add

Take a photo of a shopping receipt to automatically recognize and batch-add items.

• Tap the "+" button in the bottom-right corner of the home page
• Select "Receipt"
• Take a photo or select a receipt image
• AI automatically recognizes product information on the receipt
• Select the items you want to add from the results
• Batch save to your item library

Batch Create

Add multiple similar items at once:

• Tap the "+" button in the bottom-right corner of the home page
• Select "Batch Create"
• Enter item names and quantities
• Set shared attributes
• Generate multiple item records in batch

Stream Add

Continuously take photos and add items one by one:

• Tap the "+" button in the bottom-right corner of the home page
• Select "Stream Add"
• Take photos of items continuously
• Add details after each photo
• Batch save when done

Image Processing

Multiple processing options are available when adding images:

• Camera: Take a photo directly
• Photo Library: Choose an existing image from your device
• AI Background Removal: Automatically remove the background to create a transparent image

Smart Auto-Complete

When entering an item name, the system provides auto-complete suggestions:

• Based on names of previously saved items
• Quickly select a name you have entered before
• Avoid typing similar names repeatedly

Save and Continue

When adding items, you can choose "Save and Continue":

• Saves the current item and stays on the add page
• Continue adding the next item
• Ideal for adding multiple items in a row
