NeatHub offers a web version for desktop — just open it in your browser for a more efficient item management experience on larger screens.

Plain explanation

The web version and mobile app sync data completely, and the features are largely the same. The difference is that the web version takes advantage of the larger screen with a split-pane layout and table view, letting you see the item list and details side by side for more efficient workflows.

Split-Pane Layout

The desktop app uses a left-right split-pane layout by default:

  • Left pane: item list, with the same search, filter, and sort capabilities as the mobile app
  • Right pane: item details -- tap an item in the left list and its details appear on the right

This eliminates the need to switch back and forth between the list and details, greatly improving browsing efficiency.

Tip

You can drag the divider in the middle to adjust the width ratio of the two panes. The app remembers your preference.

Table View

The desktop app supports a table view that displays item data in a spreadsheet-like format:

  • Each row is an item, each column is an attribute
  • Supports horizontal and vertical scrolling, ideal for items with many attributes
  • Quickly browse and compare attribute values across multiple items
  • The bottom shows a total price summary for the current page

Supported Browsers

The web version works in all modern browsers. We recommend the following for the best experience:

  • Chrome: recommended, best compatibility
  • Safari: recommended for macOS users
  • Edge: recommended for Windows users
  • Firefox: also supported

Web Version vs. Mobile Differences

  • Data is fully synced -- just sign in with the same account
  • The web version has split-pane layout and table view, which the mobile app does not
  • The web version does not support barcode scanning, NFC, push notifications, or other features that rely on mobile hardware
  • The web version does not support widgets

Use Cases

Bulk Data Organization

When you need to organize a large number of items at once, the desktop's large screen and table view make the process much more efficient, and typing on a keyboard is much faster than on a phone.

Data Viewing and Comparison

The split-pane layout lets you browse the list while viewing details at the same time, perfect for scenarios where you need to frequently switch between different items.

Data Import

Prepare your Excel/CSV file on your computer, then import the data directly in the web version -- no need to switch devices.
