Data Import
Batch import item data from an Excel file to quickly build your item library.
Supported Formats
- Excel files (.xlsx, .xls)
Currently only Excel format is supported. CSV and other formats are not supported.
Accessing Data Import
- On the home page, tap the "+" button in the bottom-right corner
- Select "Import Data" from the popup menu
- Enter the data import page
Membership Limits
The data import feature has different usage limits for members and non-members:
Members
- Can select an Excel file
- Preview the data in the file
- Check the items to import
- Batch import items
Non-Members
- Can select an Excel file to view its contents
- Cannot preview or batch import
- Can contact the developer for free import assistance
To ensure service quality, batch import is a members-only feature. Non-members who need batch import can contact the developer for free assistance.
File Format Requirements
The Excel file must meet the following format:
Column Order
The column order is fixed, in this sequence:
- Column 1: Name (required)
- Column 2: Quantity (defaults to 1)
- Column 3: Price (defaults to 0)
- Column 4: Notes (optional)
Header Row
- The first row is the header row and will be skipped during import
- Item data starts from the second row
Data Format
- Name cannot be empty — rows with empty names will not be imported
- Quantity and price should be numbers
- Notes can be left blank
Download Sample Template
- Go to the data import page
- Tap "Download Sample Template"
- Save the template file
- Fill in your data following the template format
Import Steps
- Tap the file selection area
- Select your prepared Excel file
- Preview the data list from the file
- Check the items you want to import (all are selected by default)
- Tap the "Import" button
- Wait for the import to complete
Preview Data
After the file is parsed, data is displayed as a list:
- Shows item name, quantity, price, and notes
- You can check or uncheck individual items
- Shows total count and selected count
- You can select all or clear the selection
Import Results
After import is complete, the results are displayed:
- Number of successfully imported items
- Number of failed items
- Automatically returns to the item list after a successful import

FAQ
File Parsing Failed
- Check that the file is in .xlsx or .xls format
- Check that the file is not corrupted
- Check that the spreadsheet structure meets the requirements
Some Items Failed to Import
- Rows with empty names will not be imported
- Incorrect data formats may cause failures
- Refer to the sample template to adjust the format
How Can Non-Members Batch Import?
- Prepare your Excel file
- Contact the developer (via QQ group or email)
- Send the file along with your NeatHub account
- The developer will assist with the import
For your first import, we recommend testing with a small amount of data first. Once you've confirmed the format is correct, import the full dataset. You can download the sample template for reference.
